Retro Exchange takes in trendy, gently-used clothing and offers trade-ins for either cash back or store credit to sellers.

Mona Yarovinsky, owner of Retro Exchange, said there is no particular style she focuses on when deciding to take in clothes.

"I mainly focus on whether or not the clothes are in good shape and fashionable," said Yarovinsky.

Retro Exchange offers customers store credit or
direct cash back for the clothes they buy from sellers.

The cash back option gives the seller 30% back from what Retro Exchange buys from the them.

If the seller decides to earn store credit, Retro Exchange will give you 50%  worth of credit for the items you sell them.

Retro Exchange looks for clothes of all seasons, styles, colors and brands.

Unlike many of the small boutiques in San Marcos, Retro Exchange offers a wide variety of style for low prices, flexible exchange rates and an enjoyable shopping experience within the thrifting community.

Retro Exchange cycles their clothing through to other stores to keep up with the flow of incoming merchandise.

"When it's time to move the clothing through, we usually donate the extras to the women's shelter or Goodwill," said Yarovinsky.
